Storm Protocol

  • Emergency situation including but not limited to hurricanes, tornados, or severe storms. Property landscape material that has been compromised creating an unsafe environment will be addressed in this plan.Once an emergency situation arises X’caping Views will assess what the current weather conditions are to determine if the conditions are safe to dispatch emergency personnel to the affected areas. It is policy that until the severe weather has dissipated, no response teams will be dispatched. Once conditions dictate, X’caping Views first responder team will evaluate the conditions throughout the properties and determine next step of action.

Safety Measures:

  • The cleanup efforts will be prioritized and will be communicated to Mangement.

Response Timeline:

  • Once the storm passes and conditions allow for X’caping Views to dispatch, first responder team will begin assessing current damages to determine appropriate course of action. Mobilization response: Within 2 hours.

  • Service crews will be notified to report to affected areas with the necessary equipment and ensure adequate access to the roadways for EMS.

Priority For Services:

  • Major roadways and entryways throughout the properties. Storm drains and sidewalks are a major concern due to the risk of flooding conditions. All storm drains will be assessed with the necessary actions taken to make sure Landscape Materia is not blocking storm drain openings. Sidewalks critical for accessing dwellings will be prioritized above common area recreational sidewalks.

  • Damage that exposes the common areas to additional harm or safety concerns will be addressed before cosmetic damages.

  • Restoration/re planting of damage plan material to minimize plan loss. Trim and remove hazardous damaged tree limbs that haven't fallen but pose a safety concern.
